La pittura si fa musica, materia sonora incarnata in un dispositivo scenico che combina insieme installazione video, performance musicale e tecno-teatro. Un universo audio-visivo composto di riflessi, di repliche, di simulacri, di rimandi che amplificano in modo combinatorio e ricorsivo l’apparato iconografico, le valenze semantiche e i riferimenti simbolici dei dipinti di Segantini. I corpi sospesi nel vuoto delle protagoniste - votati a un eterno «nirvana di nevi e ghiacci » (Segantini) -, gli alberi secchi, le distese di neve, il cromatismo dei dipinti vengono riconsegnati allo spettatore attraverso una “dimensione narrativa” che procede su molteplici livelli nella quale l’atmosfera irreale, l’assenza di gravità e la sospensione del tempo, caratteristiche delle opere di Segantini, si espandono nello spazio fisico tridimensionale.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Un video musicale, dunque, per rendere manifesta e in un certo senso per “risvegliare” l’originaria potenza enigmatica della pittura di Segantini, vale a dire il suo intrinseco potere replicante (1). &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: justify;"&gt;Un &lt;em&gt;essai&lt;/em&gt; di interpretazione audio-visiva, inteso come macchina delle emozioni, come macchina sinestetica, che procede programmaticamente lungo la via dell’ibridazione mediale già aperta da due miei precedenti lavori: &lt;em&gt;L’isola dei morti &lt;/em&gt;(1996), sull’omonimo dipinto di Arnold Böcklin, e &lt;em&gt;Mosaici di Piazza Armerina &lt;/em&gt;(2005), sull’omonimo ciclo musivo siciliano.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: justify;"&gt;..............&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;1) Non a caso il &lt;em&gt;Ciclo del Nirvana &lt;/em&gt;è stato all’origine di molti saggi e molti testi critici. Su di esso si sono cimentati storici dell’arte, filosofi, psicanalisti, studiosi di semiotica e poeti. Come tutti i grandi capolavori, questo ciclo pittorico è produttore di un’infinità di letture possibili e permane loro malgrado tuttora assolutamente enigmatico. Si potrebbe allora dire che questa interpretazione videografica e musicale, in quanto forma non discorsiva di interpretazione dell’opera, inizia là dove terminano quelle letterarie.
